How It Works

From priority list to move-in — a transparent, step-by-step process for students and parents.

1

Join Priority List

Submit your name and contact information to join the priority list. Priority list members receive application updates, availability notices, and early access to the full application.

2

Submit Application

Complete the full application with your personal information, school enrollment details, housing preferences, Kettering section (if applicable), move-in timeline, and vehicle/parking needs.

3

Parent / Guarantor Submits Information

Your parent, guardian, or guarantor provides their contact information, confirms their willingness to co-sign or guarantee payments if required, and completes any required verification.

4

Screening Reviewed

Management reviews the application, verifies information provided, and conducts lawful screening. Additional documentation may be requested. Applications are evaluated according to lawful criteria.

5

Room / Bed Availability Confirmed

Available beds are confirmed based on the application date, housing fit, roommate preferences, and occupancy plan. You will be notified of your assigned room and bed if approved.

6

Lease or Occupancy Agreement Signed

Approved applicants and any required guarantor receive and must sign the lease or occupancy agreement. The agreement controls all terms — rent, rules, obligations, and policies.

7

Deposit & First Month Paid

The security deposit and first month payment must be received before move-in. Payment instructions are provided after the agreement is signed. A bed is not reserved until all payments clear.

8

Move-In Condition Checklist Completed

Before move-in, the resident and management complete a move-in condition checklist documenting the state of the assigned room, bed, and common areas. This checklist is signed by both parties.

9

Access Instructions Provided

After all documents are signed and all payments are received, the resident receives access instructions, keys or credentials, and move-in coordination details.

10

Resident Starts Under Written House Rules

The resident moves in and agrees to follow all written house rules, resident standards, quiet hours, guest policies, and the terms of the signed agreement from day one.

Important

A bed is not reserved until the applicant is approved, documents are signed, and all required payments are received. Submitting an application does not guarantee housing. All steps are subject to applicable law, property readiness, and management's lawful screening and approval.
